Terms of use
Plain rules for using ForgePath, whether you're looking for work or hiring.
Effective October 28, 2026
1. Agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and ForgePath ("ForgePath", "we", "us"). By using www.forgepathcareers.com or sending us a form, you agree to them. If you use ForgePath for a business, you agree on its behalf. Our privacy notice explains how we handle information.
2. We are independent
ForgePath is an independent business. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting for the Texas Workforce Commission, any Workforce Solutions board, any college or any government agency. We do not decide who qualifies for public programs and we never handle public funds. Where a public training, wage or support program may apply, the local workforce board alone decides eligibility and amounts.
3. What we do, and what we don't promise
We list openings, review applications, introduce candidates to employers with their consent, and help employers find candidates. We do our best to list accurate, real openings, but employers write and own their postings. We do not guarantee that any person will be interviewed, hired or paid a particular wage, that any opening is still available, that any candidate will be a good fit, or that anyone will qualify for any public program, subsidy, tax credit or reimbursement. Examples of savings or support on this site are illustrations, not promises.
4. For job seekers
- ForgePath is free for job seekers. We will never charge you to apply, be introduced or start a job. If anyone asks you for money in ForgePath's name, tell us.
- You must be 18 or older to create an account or use our forms. Keep access to your email secure; anyone who can read it can sign in to your account.
- "See what you may qualify for" is a pre-screen, not a decision. Your local Workforce Solutions office decides who qualifies for its programs, and results depend on information you give them.
- Give true, current information. Don't apply on someone else's behalf without their permission.
- When you apply to an opening and agree to share, we send your application to that employer. The employer decides whether to interview or hire you.
5. For employers
When you post an opening or ask us to find candidates, you agree that:
- the opening is real and paid, and its title, duties, location and pay are accurate;
- you will follow all employment laws that apply to you, including equal employment opportunity laws (see our equal opportunity statement), wage and hour laws, workplace safety laws and work-authorization checks;
- you will not charge any candidate a fee or require them to buy anything to be hired;
- you will use candidate information only to consider them for the opening they applied to, keep it secure, and not sell it or share it with others;
- you, not ForgePath, are the employer of anyone you hire, and you make and are responsible for every hiring and employment decision;
- any separate fee agreement with ForgePath will be in writing and will be a flat or agreed amount, never a share of any public funds.
We may edit, decline or remove any posting, for example if it looks misleading, unlawful, unpaid or discriminatory.
6. Acceptable use
Don't misuse the site: no false or misleading information, spam, scraping or bulk collection of postings or personal information, attempts to break or overload our systems or security checks, or use that violates the law or someone else's rights.
7. Our content
The ForgePath name, logo and site content belong to us or our licensors. You may share links and job postings for personal, non-commercial use. Photos are used under the Unsplash License.
8. Other websites
Some postings link to an employer's own website. We are not responsible for other websites or their privacy practices.
9. Disclaimer
The site and our services are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
10. Limits on liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, ForgePath will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, wages or data, arising from your use of the site or services, or from any hiring decision or employment relationship. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us for the service involved in the 12 months before the claim.
11. Employer responsibility
Employers agree to defend and indemnify ForgePath against claims arising from their postings, hiring decisions or employment practices, or their breach of these terms.
12. Texas law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Potter County, Texas, unless the law requires otherwise.
13. Changes
We may update these terms. If we make a material change, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, tell you before it takes effect. Continuing to use ForgePath after a change means you accept it.
