Local talent, ready to learn your work

Tell us the roles you are trying to fill. We find, screen and prepare candidates from across the Panhandle, so you can take a chance on a new worker with less risk.

You hire directly. The new hire works for you from day one.

What you get

Candidates who fit, not a pile of résumés

Matching capable workers with job openings, quickly and at low cost, is the whole job. We do the finding and screening so your team can do the interviewing and training.

  • A local pipeline. People from Panhandle schools, training programs and communities who want to work here.
  • Screened for your opening. We talk to every candidate before you do.
  • Less risk on a new worker. Paid internships, paid work experience and on-the-job training let you see someone work before a long commitment.
  • Help with training costs. We help you find out if public training-cost support may apply to your role and prepare what's asked for.

How it works

Four steps, and you stay in charge

  1. Tell us the role. Post an opening below, or call us. It takes a few minutes.
  2. We find and screen. We post it on the SkillNetwork, reach out to local programs and screen every applicant.
  3. You interview and hire. You meet the candidates you like and make the decision.
  4. We follow up. We check in with you and your new hire during the first months.

What we do

  • Find and screen candidates for your opening
  • Share applications only with the candidate's OK
  • Help you explore training-cost support that may apply
  • Check in after the hire

What we don't do

  • Decide who qualifies for public programs; the local workforce board does
  • Handle public funds
  • Stand between you and your employee
  • Charge job seekers, ever

Questions

Questions employers ask

Are you a staffing agency?

No. We're a recruiting partner. You hire directly, the new hire works for you from day one, and we never stand between you and your employee.

What does it cost?

We'll walk you through it on a short call before you commit to anything. Candidates are never charged.

What is on-the-job training?

You hire someone and they learn the role at work while you pay them. In some cases part of the training cost may be supported by a public program. The local workforce board decides whether and how much.

What does hosting a paid intern involve?

Real tasks, a supervisor who guides the work, and a set start and end date. We'll talk through what fits your business.

Can we hire someone under 18?

Our openings and candidates are 18 and older for now.
