Privacy notice
The short version: we collect what we need to connect you with work or with candidates, we share your application with an employer only when you say OK, and we never sell your information.
Effective October 28, 2026
1. Who we are
This notice covers www.forgepathcareers.com and the services we offer through it, run by ForgePath ("ForgePath", "we", "us") of Amarillo, Texas. ForgePath is an independent recruiting network. We are not a government agency and are not affiliated with the Texas Workforce Commission or any Workforce Solutions board. Questions: hello@forgepathcareers.com.
2. What we collect
Information you give us
- Job seekers: your name, email, phone (optional), town, the kinds of work you want, your school or training program (optional), what you tell us about yourself, the openings you apply to, and your choices about contact and sharing.
- Account and "See what you may qualify for": if you create an account, your sign-in email and your answers to the check: age range, what you're doing now (for example in school, looking for work, laid off or leaving the military), county, whether you have a diploma or GED, military service, and what would help you most. These answers are saved to your account.
- Employers: business name, town, your name, title, work email and phone, and details about the roles you want to fill.
- Anyone who contacts us: your name, email and message.
Sensitive answers, only with your consent
One question in the check is optional: whether you get SNAP or cash assistance, have a low household income, have been in foster care, have unstable housing, or have a disability or health condition that affects work. Some of these are sensitive personal information under Texas law. We save them only if you tick a separate box agreeing to it, we use them only to find programs you may qualify for, and we never share them with employers. You can choose "Prefer not to say", and you can delete your answers any time.
We never ask for your Social Security number, immigration status, criminal history or bank details on this website. Please don't send them.
Information collected automatically
- Always (necessary): a cookie that remembers your cookie choices; security checks that protect our forms from spam (Cloudflare Turnstile); and standard server records kept by our host, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested.
- Only if you allow analytics: PostHog records pages viewed, links and buttons clicked, the referring site, device and browser type, and approximate location from your IP address, linked to a random ID. It does not record what you type into forms.
- Only if you allow marketing: if we ever use advertising partners (such as Meta, LinkedIn or Google), their cookies would measure our ads. We do not use any today. The cookie policy lists every cookie.
3. How we use it
- To review your application and, with your OK, introduce you to the employer you applied to.
- To contact you about openings that fit, if you asked us to.
- To show you programs and support you may qualify for, follow up when you ask us to, and, if you agreed to be contacted, remind you to finish the check (at most two reminder emails).
- To understand an employer's hiring needs and find candidates for them.
- To point job seekers and employers to training or support programs that may help, when they ask.
- To answer questions, keep the site secure, prevent fraud and spam, and improve the site.
- To meet legal obligations and enforce our terms.
We do not make automated decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects. People at ForgePath review applications, and employers make hiring decisions.
4. Who we share it with
- Employers you apply to. Only the employer named on the opening, only after you tick the box that says so, and only for that opening.
- Programs you ask us to connect you with. For example, a training provider or your local workforce office, only when you ask us to. Your check answers are never shared with employers.
- Service providers who work for us under contracts that limit their use of your information: Supabase (database hosting), Cloudflare (website hosting, security and spam protection), PostHog (analytics, only with your consent) and our email provider.
- When the law requires it, or to protect the rights, safety or property of anyone, or in connection with a merger or sale of our business, with notice to you.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it for targeted advertising unless you turn on marketing cookies, and we honor Global Privacy Control signals as an opt-out.
5. How long we keep it
- Job seeker accounts, profiles, check answers and applications: 24 months after your last activity, then deleted. You can delete your account yourself any time from My ForgePath.
- Employer requests and contact details: 36 months after our last contact.
- Messages sent through the contact form: 24 months.
- Records of your consent choices: as long as we hold the related information, plus up to 5 years to show we had your permission.
- Analytics data: up to 12 months.
You can ask us to delete your information sooner (see below).
6. Your rights
Texas residents have rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, and we offer the same rights to everyone. You can ask us to:
- confirm whether we process your personal information and give you access to it;
- correct inaccurate information;
- delete your information;
- give you a copy in a portable format;
- stop any sale, targeted advertising or profiling (we do none of these by default).
You can see and change your details, change your contact choices, and delete your account and all of its data yourself, any time, from My ForgePath. For anything else, email hello@forgepathcareers.com or use the contact form and choose "Privacy request". We may need to confirm your identity. If we decline your request, you can appeal by replying with "Appeal" within 60 days. We'll answer within 60 days. If you're not satisfied, you can contact the Texas Attorney General.
You can also withdraw any consent you gave us at any time, for example by unsubscribing from emails, replying STOP to texts, or using .
7. Emails and texts
We email or text you about openings only if you asked us to. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. Reply STOP to any text to stop texts. We'll still send messages you need about an application you made.
8. Age
Our accounts, forms and openings are for people 18 and older. This site is not directed to children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you think a minor has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

If we make a material change, we'll update the date at the top and, where appropriate, tell you before it takes effect.
